HOT AND FRICTION CIRCULAR SAW BLADE
The friction saw blades are developed for cutting tubes or profiles made of carbon steel such as St37 and St52 with a tensile strength of between 300 and 600 N/mm² on stationary or flying saws. The product range covers all standard sizes for the main sawing machines. Special dimensions up to a diameter of 2000 mm on request.
The recently developed KF HR® friction saw has a new, extremely efficient material structure by means of a patented thermochemical process (Pat. No. EP1595000). Compared to materials of standard circular saw blades, this new material combination guarantees considerable improvements:
- up to 300% longer lifetime (compared to standard 1.2235)
- less cracking thanks to a ductile material structure and forming by internal stress
- visibly better cutting quality
- suitable for steel with a tensile strength of up to 850 N/mm²
